The active ingredients in Psoriderm cream are distilled coal tar and lecithin.

Coal tar has been used to treat skin conditions for hundreds of years, but its mechanism of action is still unknown, owing to its complex composition.

Coal tar has mild antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, as well as the ability to relieve itching. It is also absorbed by skin cells, where it is thought to inhibit DNA replication. This slows cell division and prevents excessive cell proliferation. This, in turn, reduces skin thickening and scaling and clears psoriasis plaques.

Directions for use:
Adults, children, and the aged:
Apply 1-2 times daily to the affected area.
